Greetings!

As a Science Teacher with 8 years of high school experience, I apply with enthusiasm with this role.

I began my career as a Science Teacher for 2 years in the Philippines before relocating to Thailand and Myanmar for 6 years to work as a Cambridge Science and IGCSE Biology and Chemistry Teacher for an international school. Currently, I am teaching IGCSE and AS Level Biology and Chemistry at Crane International School Myanmar.

As well as the planning and delivery of high-quality teaching in physical and virtual settings, I am experienced in administering and evaluating assessments in preparation for examinations. I employ a range of traditional and progressive methodology, incorporating experiential learning opportunities when possible.

I see myself as an educator, not just a teacher. I encourage students to question their actions, the way that others live, and how we can use our knowledge to question the choices we make. I foster collaborations with school leadership and fellow teachers that promote a flexible, supportive, and dynamic learning environment. I am delighted by the 90% average pass rate that my classes achieve.

In addition to my experience, I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biological Sciences and am a Licensed Professional Teacher.
